I think that this is displaying the relationship between two people who live in distant countries and the longing/missing of each other. I also see the road with different road signs which could could symbolize taking different paths in life. I like the pops of color amongst the black and white.
I really like the OSU flags being in red when the rest of the image is in black and white. I also like that the sad emotions had the color removed while the images you are happy with remain in color. The focus seems to be on the center image of the girl with the balloon.
My eyes are immediately drawn to the balloon in the center of the image and then down from there. After the balloon I keep looking at all the images with color.
